CBD in the Morning: Seven Easy CBD Breakfast Recipes

One of the best ways to start your day is with CBD in the morning. The key to feeling the magic of CBD at work is to be consistent. To make consistency easier, and to help you get out of the rut of repeat-breakfasts that so many of us tend to fall into, we’ve put together this list of seven ways to add CBD to your morning routine.

Drink CBD in the Morning!

One of the easiest ways to get CBD in the morning is in a beverage. Whether you prefer coffee, tea, a smoothie or a cold-pressed juice, adding a little CBD can be a great pick-me-up. Even if you skip breakfast (which we don’t recommend), you definitely need to rehydrate with a morning drink.

Though many of us are in the habit of ordering an iced coffee drink in a coffee shop, it seems we rarely make a cold coffee at home. Here’s a CBD coffee recipe worth trying.

Ingredients

  • 1 shot espresso (cooled if time allows)
  • ½ cup milk of your choice
  • 1 ml CBD oil
  • Ice to brim
  • Sugar or sugar substitute to taste

Directions

Put all the ingredients in a glass and stir!

Tip: To make this CBD coffee extra fun, try a flavored CBD oil. Peppermint CBD drops are mighty tasty in coffee, especially with a dash of mocha.

Start your day with a boost of iron, Vitamin C, and antioxidants with this CBD fruit smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, leaves removed
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½ cup milk of your choice
  • ¼ cup ice
  • 1 ml Lemon CBD oil
  • 1 tsp honey

Directions

Put all the ingredients in the blender and blend until desired consistency. Add more milk if you like a thinner smoothie. Add some hemp protein for a power smoothie.

CBD in the Morning: Eat it!

Start the day strong with a nutrient-rich breakfast that nourishes your body and your endocannabinoid system. That way, you’re putting your best foot forward. By now you probably know you can add CBD to just about anything, but here are some easy breakfast recipes we enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 ml CBD oil
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and stir. Next, place mixture into a container and close the lid. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.

In the morning: add a dash of cold milk if desired.

Tip: You can add just about any fruit, nut or seed to overnight oats for added nutritional value. A dash of cinnamon or nutmeg can also add a nice flavor.

Avocado Toast with CBD oil

Did somebody says avocados? Yes, please.

Ingredients 

1 avocado
2 pieces of your favorite bread
1 ml CBD oil

Directions

Toast bread. Slice avocado. Place avocado slices on toast. Evenly drop CBD oil on top of avocado.

 

Salmon AVOCADO Toast with CBD Oil

If you aren’t a vegan or vegetarian, get necessary Omega 3s by adding salmon to your avocado toast. So much yum.

Ingredients 

3 oz thinly sliced smoked salmon
4 slices whole wheat bread
¾ cup spinach
1 garlic clove, chopped
¼ red onion, chopped
1 tsp olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
1 ml lemon CBD oil

Directions

On low heat, warm olive oil in pan. Then, add garlic and onion. After 15-20 seconds, add spinach. Pan fry for 1 minute. Toast bread. Place fried spinach on slices of toast. Drizzle lemon CBD oil atop. Place salmon on top. Add salt and pepper if desired.

Note: if you don’t want a lemony taste, use organically grown CBD oil.

This is so easy and so versatile. Just use whichever fruits you have at home. Add some optional ingredients for crunch or taste. You can use lemon CBD tincture for a little bite.

Fruit Salad Ingredients
Any fruits you like!
1 ml CBD oil

Easy Combo:
¼ cup berries, chopped
½ banana, chopped
½ apple, chopped
¼ cup grapes

Optional ingredients
Yogurt or kafir
Chili Powder
Nuts
Seeds
Chopped mint
Honey
Dash of Lemon Juice
Cooked quinoa or bulgar

Directions

Chop up fruit and place in a bowl. Add desired optional ingredients and CBD oil. Gently stir until nicely mixed.
